Academics at Red Top Meadows

Red Top Meadows offers an accredited academic program for boys between the 6th and 12th grade. Special education services are provided by a Wyoming Certified special education teacher. A certified general education teacher and residential staff are available for teaching, individualized tutoring, support, and classroom supervision. Other professionals are contracted to provide services for individuals with specific learning disabilities.

The freedom of a small school allows for creative alternatives to the everyday school program. Curriculums are written to meet standards as well as to complement the Wilderness and Gardening programs. Summer sessions may include field trips to Grand Teton National Park or to the geyser basins of Yellowstone. The community of Jackson Hole provides presenters and teachers of music, health, culinary arts, pottery, and writing.

Students that typically have trouble in other school settings are provided with an opportunity to learn from an integrated educational environment where emotional, physical and intellectual needs can be addressed.

Accredited by the Association for Experiential Education.
